As I am listening to yesterday's podcast November 18th I am enraged by the Phelps family and all that they stand for. I am a 25 year old lesbian, who has a Bachelors degree in Youth Ministry for the nations largest evangelical christian university.

Yes, you're thinking, what an oxymoron. A gay christian. I love who I am and I worship an amazing God who created me and loves me as I am. Jesus' most important lessons He taught surrounded the issue of LOVE. Love others, love all others as though they were your family.

Thank you for being in a position where you can talk to people like Shirley and shove their hypocrisy back in her face. She is a disgrace to Christians everywhere. When you protest outside of Fred Phelps funeral, my girlfriend and I will be right there with you.
