Little Eric - You may not want to live in a world where drugs are legalized, but I do not want to live in a world where a Totalitarian Government is not only approved, but encouraged by ill-informed children (I mean you, dick). I, for one, feel comfortable with the ability to make my own decisions. You might enjoy not thinking for yourself, but I'm not that weak minded. What do you feel was accomplished by voting against it? Did you pass a new law? Nope. Were there any advancements in the "war on drugs"? Not at all. Did the number of current users change by a single digit? Absolutely not. Congratulations, you've accomplished nothing. Well, other than ensuring that California never see's it's cut of a $14Billion+/yr boost in our Economy. Thanks to your personal opinion on the subject, you have made certain that the State of California does not see Billions of dollars in new jobs within the next 2 years. You've set in stone that there will not be a $100,000,000+/yr contribution to our public school systems. You've also guaranteed that Non-Violent drug offenders will be contained, on the state's dime. I have a kiddy-diddler living around the corner from me, sentenced to 7yrs, out in 3 due to overcrowding. Any idea what could have prevented that? Decriminalizing a victimless crime. How now, young voter, do you propose we put an end to marijuana being smuggled in from other countries? Got a suggestion for freeing our Police Officers to arrest those that have actually victimized others?

Since you clearly think you know what is best for our society, tell me: what is YOUR idea for getting this state back on it's feet? Rather than vote against what you feel is "not for me" (without an ounce of research), why not try offering a suggestion that might bring $14Billion+/PER YEAR into the State? Please, stop voting. As someone clearly able to accept a position for no pay, you have no idea what it is to be a responsible adult. You are being supported by tax paying citizens, while not actually being a tax paying citizen. The system of "voting" was not intended for you. It is meant for those of us that actually contribute something to this country. Just sit back, keep your mouth shut, and wait for Daddy to get your next job lined up for you. Maybe that one won't pay anything, either.
