Pop icon Madonna is turning to her fans for help after several of her personal archival costume pieces disappeared following a surprise appearance at Coachella Arts and Music Festival.
The Queen of Pop made an unexpected cameo during Sabrina Carpenter’s Friday night set, joining the “Espresso” singer on stage and sending the crowd into a frenzy. Shortly after, Madonna shared on Instagram that she was still “flying high” from the performance, calling it a full-circle moment.
“Thank you to Sabrina and everyone who made it possible. Bringing ‘Confessions II’ back to where it began was such a thrill!” she wrote.
The moment carried extra significance: more than two decades ago, Madonna made history at Coachella with a performance tied to her 2005 dance album Confessions on a Dancefloor, helping pave the way for major pop acts at the festival. Now, with Confessions on a Dancefloor Part II slated for release this summer, her return felt especially symbolic.
But the celebration was cut short when Madonna realized several vintage wardrobe pieces—pulled directly from her personal archives—had gone missing. Among the items: a jacket, corset, dress, and other garments tied to that iconic era.
“These aren’t just clothes, they are part of my history,” she explained, adding that additional archival items from the same period also vanished.
Hoping for a positive outcome, the 67-year-old star is asking anyone with information to come forward. “I’m hoping and praying that some kind soul will find these items and reach out to my team,” she said.
