The One Oh One was founded by Singer/Songwriter Philip Bak from Oldenburg, Germany. He had been writing poetry since 12 years old and was heavily influenced by Ian Brown of The Stone Roses and Catherine Wheel. When he moved to Los Angeles he recruited guitarists Like McClure & Lance Fountain, Bassist A.P. Murray & Drummer Scott Aguero. They experimented with Philips old folk songs infused them with American Alternative Rock Music which then formed the unique sounds of "The One Oh One", which were produced and mixed by Darryl Swann.
