Raised in Riverside - the stretch between Los Angeles sprawl and Joshua Tree dust - SMD pulls from the low-end groove, thunderous pentatonics, and brooding melody that defined late ’90s alternative and early 2000s desert rock. Their sound leans on hypnotic riffs, thick harmonies, and sharp vocal hooks - familiar in all the right ways, but built to hit now.
