The Cursed Machine is a Los Angeles–based band delivering raw, high-voltage rock. Formed in 2022, the group is made up of Chris Bafiera (drums), Jonathan Hernandez (bass), Michael O’Clock (guitar), Mike Black (guitar) and Zack Olin (vocals). Pulling from a wide spectrum of influences—ranging from the snarling guitar riffs of ACDC, to the jagged textures of The Jesus Lizard and The Murder City Devils, to the reckless swagger of Iggy Pop —The Cursed Machine carves out a sound that thrives at the intersection of rock, garage and punk. Known for their high-energy live performances, the band channels unrelenting power into every set, leaving sweat-soaked crowds in their wake.
