Initial Mass is a heavy rock trio from Los Angeles, CA that formed in 2015. Drawing inspiration from the full spectrum of rock music, they blend hard-hitting riffs with progressive sensibilities to create their uniquely heavy yet melodic sound. The band independently released their debut, Time & Measure, in 2016; their follow-up concept album, Tidal Force, in 2018; and most recently, Bending Light, last July. Although live shows in support of the newest album have been postponed, preparations for the next record have begun.
